Will this fix a black screen or display lines?

This part repairs the touchscreen layer. It will generally not fix a black display, lines, image distortion, or a radio that will not power on. Those symptoms require diagnosis of the LCD or radio.

Installation

Installation requires disassembling the display and carefully separating the digitizer from the LCD. Professional installation is recommended to prevent damage to the display or ribbon cables.
