PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

ACS offers a professionally serviced and tested ABS / VSA Pump Control Module for select 2009–2011 Honda Pilot vehicles.

This module is designed to replace a compatible faulty ABS/VSA control unit and help restore proper operation of the vehicle's Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) system.

IMPORTANT: Part number matching is required before purchasing. Not all 2009–2011 Honda Pilot vehicles use the same ABS module.

ACS TECHNICAL NOTE: These codes do not automatically confirm an internal ABS module failure. Pressure sensor, yaw rate sensor, acceleration sensor, wiring, hydraulic and other system faults can produce similar codes. Proper professional diagnosis is recommended before purchasing.

HOW TO VERIFY PART COMPATIBILITY

METHOD 1 – CHECK YOUR ORIGINAL MODULE (RECOMMENDED)

Remove or inspect your existing ABS control module and locate the identification or part number printed on the housing.

Compare your original module number with the compatible numbers listed above.

METHOD 2 – VERIFY THROUGH A HONDA DEALERSHIP

Contact your local Honda dealership's Parts Department and request the OEM replacement part number using your vehicle's VIN.

Compare the dealer-provided number with our compatible part numbers.

If your part number does not match, contact ACS before ordering. We may have the correct replacement available.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION WARNING

PLEASE READ BEFORE INSTALLING YOUR ABS MODULE.

The ABS/VSA module connects to the hydraulic pump through two metal electrical contact prongs.

During module removal, these contacts may remain attached to the electronic module instead of the hydraulic pump.

BOTH CONTACT PRONGS MUST BE CORRECTLY POSITIONED ON THE HYDRAULIC PUMP SIDE BEFORE REINSTALLING THE MODULE.

Incorrect installation may cause the contacts to bend, touch each other and create an electrical short circuit, potentially causing permanent damage to the ABS/VSA module.

Damage resulting from improper installation, bent contacts or electrical shorts is not covered under the ACS warranty.

ACS strongly recommends installation by a qualified automotive technician familiar with Honda ABS/VSA systems.

CORE RETURN POLICY

CORE RETURN REQUIRED TO ACTIVATE YOUR 1-YEAR WARRANTY.

Your original defective ABS control module must be returned to ACS.

Core Return Requirements:

• The returned core must match the purchased module's required part number and vehicle application.

• The core must be complete, with no missing components.

• Modules with water, fire or significant physical damage are not acceptable.

• Previously opened or repaired modules must be disclosed to ACS before purchase.

• The core should be returned within 30 days of purchase.

• ACS pays the qualifying outbound shipping; the customer is responsible for return-core shipping.

• Free outbound shipping applies only to eligible USPS Priority Mail shipments within the United States.

If your module has previously been repaired or modified, please contact ACS before ordering to confirm core eligibility.

ACS 1-YEAR WARRANTY

Your ABS/VSA control module is covered by a 1-year ACS warranty once all applicable core-return requirements have been satisfied.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

• Incorrect installation

• Bent or shorted electrical contacts

• Water or fire exposure

• Physical damage or misuse

• Unauthorized modifications or repairs

• External vehicle electrical faults
