🔧 IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INFORMATION

Professional installation by a qualified diesel technician is highly recommended.

Before installing the replacement turbocharger, the original cause of turbocharger failure should be identified and corrected.

The installer should inspect:

• Turbocharger oil supply line

• Turbocharger oil drain line

• Engine oil and oil filter

• Air intake system

• Charge-air cooler/intercooler

• Exhaust system

• VGT electronic actuator

• Related sensors and electrical connections

• Engine operating conditions

The turbocharger must be properly lubricated during installation according to the applicable service procedure.

VGT actuator installation or replacement may require proper calibration or programming.

Improper installation, insufficient lubrication, contaminated oil, foreign-object damage, or unresolved engine problems can cause premature turbocharger failure.
